Indiana Pacers forward Thaddeus Young and Houston Rockets guard James Harden have been named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 9 of the 2018-19 season (Dec. 10-16).
Other nominees for Eastern Conference Player of the Week were Brooklyn’s Spencer Dinwiddie, Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, Boston’s Kyrie Irving, Indiana’s Myles Turner and Orlando’s Nikola Vučević.
Other nominees for Western Conference Player of the Week were San Antonio’s LaMarcus Aldridge, New Orleans’ Anthony Davis, Sacramento’s De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield, and Denver’s Nikola Jokić.
