Vince Carter: Hits five treys en route to 18-point game

Carter was rolling from downtown early on, so the Grizzlies didn’t hesitate to keep feeding him the rock, ultimately leading to a season-high point total after the veteran had provided just eight points combined in the team’s first two games. The 39-year-old won’t be counted on for double-digit scoring production very often, so it’s probably best to view this outing as an outlier. Carter also figures to lose more playing time in the near future with Tony Allen (knee) on the brink of a return.
