Valanciunas (ankle) was able to participate in some on-court drills Thursday but he remains without a timetable for a return, Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports reports.

Thursday marked Valanciunas’ sixth-consecutive missed game due to a sprained ankle. As of Thursday, the Raptors stated that the Lithuanian big man was only roughly 50 percent recovered from the ankle injury, making his outlook heading into Game 3 appear dim. Coach Dwane Casey told reporters after Thursday’s Game 2 loss that the Raptors would continue to evaluate Valanciunas, but there is still no firm timetable for a potential return this series. As it stands, Bismack Biyombo and Patrick Patterson will likely shoulder most of the minutes up front for Toronto for at least Game 3.
