Per GM Dell Demps, Evans has begun on-court activities, but it will likely be a couple of weeks before the Pelicans put forth a more definitive timetable. “He’s been working hard. His body looks great,” Demps said. “We’ll have a better indication in maybe two weeks. We hope to have him back hopefully before January. Could it be late November? Maybe. Maybe early December, mid-December. It’ll all depend on how his rehab goes over the next couple weeks.” That’s not exactly a definitive statement from Demps, but at this point a return sometime in December appears to be the most realistic scenario. Look for Buddy Hield and E’Twaun Moore to pick up increased minutes so long as Evans remains out.
