Trevor Booker: Modest showing in Nets debut

The veteran forward was serviceable in his first time on the floor for the Nets, but has big shoes to fill in his attempt to replace the production of Thaddeus Young at the four. Booker has never started more than 45 games in his career and averaged more than 8.4 points in any season, so his ability to provide points consistently will remain in question until a larger sample size is achieved. Of more certainty is the fact that Booker should offer a solid rebounding presence down low alongside Lopez, as he’s put together a strong body of work in that regard in his six seasons.
