The elevated playing time certainly made Satoransky’s well-rounded stat line possible, but even before Thursday, coach Scott Brooks had glowing reports about the 24-year-old, who joined the Wizards on a three-year, $9 million deal this summer. Through two preseason games, Satoransky has shown sound decision making while seeing time at three different positions, posting a 12:3 assist-to-turnover ratio. He appears to have a good shot of opening the season in a rotation role, and could benefit from more minutes than expected if John Wall (knees) is limited in the early going.
