Tobias Harris: Pours in 15 in preseason loss

The veteran forward came out strong right out of the chute, draining a trio of three-pointers for good measure in the loss. Harris thrived after arriving in Detroit at the trade deadline last season, averaging career highs from the field (47.7 percent) and three-point range (37.5 percent) and scoring at a 16.6 points-per-game clip that was a significant improvement over the 13.7 points he’d averaged the first 49 contests of the campaign with the Magic. With a full offseason in Detroit under his belt and a chance to gel with All-Star center Andre Drummond, expectations will be high going in for Harris and the Pistons, even with Reggie Jackson’s (knee) absence to start the season.
