Through three preseason games, Frazier appears to have widened the gap between himself and Langston Galloway in the competition for the starting point guard spot that was made available by Jrue Holiday’s (personal) indefinite absence. Frazier has carried over his late-season success with the Pelicans to average 8.6 points, 8.3 assists and 5.6 boards across 25.0 minutes per game in the preseason. He won’t offer the scoring or three-point production that most of the league’s point guards can provide, but occasional flirtation with triple-doubles would certainly make him an interesting commodity.
