Robinson was in competition with Anthony Brown and Metta World Peace for a spot, and the Lakers opted to waive Brown on Monday, meaning both Robinson and World Peace will open the year on the roster. Already a journeyman at age 25, Robinson will look to find some semblance of a permanent home after spending time with the Nets, 76ers, Trail Blazers, Rockets and Kings since entering the NBA in 2012.
