Terry Rozier: Puts up 14 points off bench

Rozier had a rough rookie season, averaging 1.8 points in 8.0 minutes per game over his 39 appearances while shooting 27.4 percent from the field, but he seems to have regained the faith of the organization after excelling in the summer league and so far during training camp. The point guard has topped double digits in the scoring column in both of his preseason contests, and looks to have a stranglehold on third-string duties at the position. Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley and Marcus Smart are clearly the Celtics’ top three guards, but Rozier may have a leg up on R.J. Hunter and Gerald Green for the remaining rotation spot in the backcourt.
