Ross, who was brought on board mid-season in a trade that sent Serge Ibaka to
the Raptors, averaged 12.5 points per game on 43.1 percent shooting across 31.2
minutes per game for Orlando. With Isaac being drafted, it will put a lot of
pressure on Ross to improve all areas of his game or risk being surpassed on the
depth chart. The Magic are in a rebuilding phase and likely won’t think twice
about playing their first round pick big minutes right out of the gate.
