T.J. McConnell: Fails to score Thursday

McConnell and backcourt mate Nik Stauskas simply couldn’t find the net Thursday,
as they combined for an 0-for-14 tally from the field. For McConnell, it was a
second consecutive muted offensive performance after he’d managed just a
two-point contribution on Monday against the Bucks. As usual, he managed to
partially salvage the night with solid assist totals, and he’s now dished out at
least five dimes in 10 of the last 12 games. He’s also hit double-digit point
totals in seven of those contests, so the second-year guard retains fantasy
value on the scoring end as well despite the occasional dud.
