Stoudemire has played in only one of Miami’s first three games, as he battles soreness in his surgically repaired knees. The Heat will continue to rest Stoudemire periodically throughout the season, and at this point, his status looks as though it will be evaluated on a game-to-game basis. With Stoudemire out, Chris Andersen will be active Tuesday.
