Golden State was expected to issue an update on the reigning MVP’s status after Wednesday’s practice, but it looks as though nothing’s changed as we move a day closer to Game 3. The team said Tuesday that an MRI on Curry’s ankle showed no significant damage, so the general feeling is that Curry will be healthy enough to play. The question, though, is whether the Warriors might hold him out for a second straight game as a precaution. While Game 2 was much closer than Game 1, Golden State, sans Curry, was still able to handle the Rockets with relative ease.
