Less than 24 hours after a disappointing effort against the Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota came out focused, hard and dominated the Nets throughout tonight’s contest, winning 132-118.
Last night Wolves interim coach Sam Mitchell said, ‘They have to understand that every single night you have to earn it.’ Well Minnesota surely deserved the victory tonight, shooting a franchise-record 68.4 percent on the night.
Every player who took the court for the Wolves seemed to have an extra pep in their step on Crunch’s birthday, especially the starters.
Wiggins, Towns, Rubio and LaVine combined for 91 points and 27 assists as they outworked the Nets who were without Brooke Lopez and Thaddeus Young.
Thomas Robinson was a bright spot for Brooklyn as he put up a big double-double with 18 points and 17 rebounds.

Leader of the Pack: Karl-Anthony Towns
The most likely soon-to-be Rookie of the Year had an awesome night, scoring a game-high 28 points on 14-for-18 shooting, grabbing six rebounds, dishing out seven assists and blocking three shots.
Highlight of the Night:
Towns got the crowd on their feet early in the ball game as he smoothly spun past a Nets defender and threw down a vicious dunk.
