Western Conference first-round playoffs at AT&T Center on Saturday. San Antonio
were heavy favorites in this series and they left very little doubt with this
dominating victory. This game was actually close throughout the first half, with
San Antonio taking control in the second half. In fact, the Spurs outscored the
Grizzlies in the second half, 62-33. Defense was key for San Antonio, as they
held Memphis to 39 percent from the field and 35 percent from long distance. The
Spurs ended up shooting 53 percent from the field, as well as from three-point
range. Rebounding was key as well, with San Antonio winning that battle, 43-35.
The Grizzlies fought hard in the first half, but got obliterated in the second
half. Marc Gasol carried Memphis, as he tallied 32 points, five rebounds, two
assists and two blocks. Mike Conley was the only other starter with more than
five points, as he collected 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists and three

was the player of the game, as he accumulated 32 points, three rebounds, five
assists and two steals on 11-of-14 shooting. LaMarcus Aldridge finished second
