Spencer Dinwiddie: Expected to move back to bench Friday

Dinwiddie and Isaiah Whitehead have both received starts at point guard during
Lin’s 26-game absence, with Dinwiddie handling the majority of those duties. The
23-year-old seemed to be hitting his stride with back-to-back 17- and 19-point
efforts heading into the All-Star break, but his playing time and productivity
figures to take a hit now that Lin is back in the fold. Dinwiddie will have to
fight Whitehead for most of the spare minutes behind Lin, though at 6-foot-6 and
200 pounds, Dinwiddie also possesses the frame to challenge for minutes on the
wing.
