(On getting more from team: “You know, I did think last night we moved the ball well. We had 26 assists, I thought we could’ve shot it better. And we could’ve shot it better from the free throw line. I don’t know what we shot from the line tonight, but I know we shot it better overall from the field. But, the guys came and had energy and purpose. Sometimes, when you’re the team that’s playing that second night of the back-to-back at the beginning of the season you have an advantage over the team that’s playing their first game. It’s the exact same scenario last year when we were very much over-excited for our home opener because of everything that was going on around and we dropped a game to the Knicks that we shouldn’t have and then we came and we beat Chicago in Chicago in their home opener. Sometimes it plays in your favor as opposed to against you.”

(On why the team has played so well this early: “I can’t really put my finger on it right now, but our last two games, I think we’ve played very well. We weren’t able to have that continuity during training camp. Our first practice with everyone that played tonight was this past Sunday. But at the same time, we are a team that knows how to win. Offensively, we know our best basketball is when we’re sharing the ball and we don’t care who gets the shots.”
