McClellan was excluded from the rotation in Friday’s 119-82 preseason win over the Raptors, but he performed well enough in his other five appearances during the exhibition slate to defy the odds and make the Wizards’ roster as an undrafted rookie. He’ll be buried on the depth chart, however, and figures to spend extensive time in the D-League in 2016-17.
