With Jerryd Bayless (wrist) sitting out for at least the first month of the season, Rodriguez and T.J. McConnell went back and forth as the projected stater at point guard throughout the preseason schedule. However, coach Brett Brown has opted to go with Rodriguez Wednesday, although the two guards will both likely see similar minutes in a timeshare. With that said, it would be surprising to see Rodriguez or McConnell log more than minutes in the mid-20’s.
