The Thunder recently opted to let fellow point guard Ronnie Price go, giving Christon the opportunity to open the season as the team’s backup point guard. Of course, once Cameron Payne (foot) is cleared for a return, Christon will move into the No. 3 role, but he’s still expected to be kept on the roster. With that said, even in his time with the second team, Christon will struggle to see minutes behind Russell Westbrook, so don’t expect him to provide much fantasy value in the early portions of the 2016-17 campaign.
