The veteran forward was tabbed for the start in Game 2, but ended up receiving the same 14-minute allotment of playing time he’d seen in Game 1 off the bench. Scola wasn’t able to make much of an impact during his time on the court, and could potentially return to a reserve role in Game 3. Prior to his game action in the series opener, the 36-year-old had notably played only five minutes over the prior eight postseason contests, with the entirety of that playing time having come in Game 3 of the semifinal series versus the Heat.
