Schroder didn’t practice Thursday while he received more treatment on his sprained left ankle, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Schroder is still expected to play in Friday’s Game 3 matchup with the Celtics, so it seems like his absence from practice Thursday was mainly for precautionary purposes. If active Friday, Schroder would likely take on his usual role as the top backup at point guard to starter Jeff Teague.
