Rush was made inactive just before Game 5 in favor of James Michael McAdoo. In the first four games of the Western Conference Finals Rush played a combined 23 minutes, scoring four points and recording nine rebounds. The change is likely due to the Warriors trying to change things up as they face a 3-1 series deficit. Rush’s absence shouldn’t impact anybody’s minutes much on Thursday, and it’s unclear if he’ll remain inactive if the series goes to a Game 6.
