First Quarter
Kobe pulled a crossover on Brandon Rush and stepped back for a long 2 … Steph answered w/a 3 to make it 10-8 Golden State.
B2B triples from Steph gave GSW a 6-point edge, but @Dloading hit his first 3-point attempt of the night to make it 16-13.
LAL hanging tough in the 1st Q at Golden State, as Julius Randle capped a 6-2 run to close the period w/a hoop to make it 24-23 GSW.
Second Quarter
After another Tarik Black hoop (6 points), D’Angelo Russell’s 2nd 3 and then layup on the next trip, LAL are up 34-31. Russell’s 8 lead LAL.
Steph Curry hit his 5th 3-pointer, as the Warriors are getting outworked a bit, but stay ahead behind all the triples. 50-49 GSW.
LAL hung tough with Golden State all half, the champs holding a 52-49 lead behind 5 Curry triples. Clarkson had 10, Russell 8 for LAL.
Third Quarter
Steph Curry keeps snapping LAL runs, his 7th 3 keeping the Warriors up 5 after Clarkson (13 points) and Hibbert scored B2B.
Lou Williams hit a 3 out of a time out … but Steph Curry answered w/his 8th triple. Kobe and Donyell Marshall hold the NBA record (12).
LAL had hung tough all game, but the Warriors made their run, an 11-0 push that separated things, late in the 3rd. GSW up 86-72.
Fourth Quarter
Williams started 1 for 7, but is 4 for 5 since. He leads LAL with 21 points in the game, but a 6-0 GSW run makes it 92-74 early in the 4th.
The crowd started chanting for Kobe … and then erupted when Byron Scott obliged and sent him in w/5:36 left. LAL are down 13.
