First Quarter

Meanwhile, Utah holds an 18-10 lead into the 2nd time out with 4:49 to play. LAL struggling to score w/Gobert anchoring the Jazz D.

Larry Nance, Jr. will not return tonight due to a sore right knee. Gary Vitti and the Jazz doctor examined him moments ago.

LAL’s big problem in the 1st Q: 7 turnovers, which led to 12 of Utah’s 32 points. LAL also shot just 28.6% to score 18 points.

Second Quarter

Anthony Brown came too far off Joe Ingles trying to help in the paint, and Ingles hit 2 open 3’s to push Utah’s lead to 42-23.

Kobe missed his first 3 shots, but hit his next 2, LAL trailing 44-27 still early in the 2nd Q. Kelly’s getting the backup PF minutes.

LAL trail 60-36 after a rough first half in Salt Lake City, the visitors shooting only 30.4%, and allowing 51.2% FG’s and 7 of 11 3’s.

Third Quarter

With LAL now down 73-40 after a 13-4 Utah run to start the 3rd, we’ll have to see if LAL just keep Kobe out. They play tomorrow vs. HOU.

Kobe is done for the night with the sore right Achilles.

Fourth Quarter

LAL trailing big in the 4th, 91-64. D’Angelo Russell just hit his 2nd triple tonight, and has 4 assists in his 21 minutes.
