The second-year forward turned in a solid effort to open the exhibition slate, as he looks to bounce back from a broken ankle that limited him to just 29 games during his rookie season. Hollis-Jefferson will offer the Nets a stout defensive presence on the wing, but what remains to be seen is how much of an offensive contribution he can make on a team that will need all of the scoring it can get. The 21-year-old managed averages of 5.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks during his truncated rookie campaign.
