HOUSTON – Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that the team has matched Brooklyn's offer sheet for restricted free agent forward/center Donatas Motiejunas.
Motiejunas (7-0, 222) was originally the 20th overall pick by Minnesota in the 2011 NBA Draft, but has spent his entire career with the Rockets. The 26-year-old started 22 games for Houston in 2015-16, including each of his final 21 games played.
In a related move, the Rockets have waived guard Bobby Brown.
