Holmes’ impressive stat line was certainly aided by the game lasting an extra 10 minutes along with the absences of Nerlens Noel (groin) and Jahlil Okafor (knee), but that won’t obscure the fact that he was the best player on the court for the Sixers. The organization has raved about Holmes’ play during the summer and early on in training camp, but until either Noel or Okafor is traded away, it will be exceedingly difficult for the second-year big man to receive enough playing time to make a consistent impact in the fantasy realm once the regular season arrives.
