Richardson compiled 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist, and one block across 31 minutes during Tuesday’s 115-103 win over the Hornets in Game 2 of the series.

Richardson finished as the Heat’s leading bench scorer and ended a recent four-game streak of inefficiency in which he’d averaged just five points on 25.9 percent shooting. That recent skid hasn’t affected Richardson’s court time, so it looks as though coach Erik Spoelstra is committed to sticking with him as the team’s primary scoring option on the second unit.
