Tony Parker is a day away from returning and Danny Green might not be far behind him. Parker, according to San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, could return to the lineup as early as Wednesday, per ESPN.com and Mike Monroe of the San Antonio Express-News.
Parker has not played since a Nov. 1 loss to Utah, sitting out the Spurs’ past two games with right knee soreness. Green (left quadriceps) is in the final phase of his recovery from an injury that has delayed the start of his eighth NBA season.
The Spurs also had yet another practice visit from retired franchise icon Tim Duncan on Monday.
The Spurs face the Houston Rockets Wednesday (9:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
