Free agent forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will sign with the Dallas Mavericks, per multiple reports Monday.
Kidd-Gilchrist was bought out last week after falling out of the rotation in Charlotte, which took him No. 2 overall in the 2012 draft.
Known for his defense, Kidd-Gilchrist is averaging 8.0 points on 47.5-percent shooting in his NBA career.
