Reports: Marvin Williams Working On Buyout With Hornets

Veteran forward Marvin Williams is reportedly on the move after five-plus seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, according to reports from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The 33-year-old is expected to complete a buyout — he had been signed only through the end of the 2019-20 season — and join the Milwaukee Bucks. Williams is averaging 6.7 points on 44.8% shooting, including 37.6% from 3-point range. A former No. 2 overall pick of the Atlanta Hawks in 2005, Williams has also played for the Utah Jazz (2012-13).
