Restricted free agent center Montrezl Harrell, who became a critical role player for the L.A. Clippers last season, has signed a two-year deal with the team, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Restricted free agent center Montrezl Harrell has agreed to a two-year, $12M deal to return to the Clippers, agent Drew Rosenhaus tells ESPN.
Harrell, who was selected in the second round of the 2015 Draft by the Houston Rockets, had a career-year last season during his first year in Los Angeles. He averaged 11 points, four rebounds in 17 minutes per game. He shot 63.5 percent from the field and provided energy off the bench.
The Clippers acquired the center in the Chris Paul trade after he had a career-season in his second year in the league with Rockets, after averaging 9.1 points and 3.8 rebounds coming off the bench.
