The Miami HEAT is in its eighth season of giving back to the community with the Re-HEAT Program, where unused food from all Miami HEAT home games is redistributed to local homeless assistance programs. Through the assistance of presenting partner, C1 Bank and supporting partner, Levy Cares, more than 36,800 pounds of food has been distributed to Re-HEAT beneficiaries, the Miami Rescue Mission and the Chapman Partnership.
HEAT Legend, Alonzo Mourning, along with representatives from Levy Restaurants and Chapman Partnership, visited the Chapman Partnership facility to deliver food and serve meals to its 400+ residents.
