Good morning from the City of Brotherly Love.
This marks the second and last day of availability here at the 2016 NBA Draft Combine.
In case you missed anything from yesterday, here’s my Day 1 Notebook. In it, you’ll find some interesting tidbits on most of the players who talked yesterday, including two big names who met with the Timberwolves.
Today is a little less busy as there aren’t as many “top guys” addressing the media.
We will be able to chat with Henry Ellenson (Marquette) and Jakob Poeltl (Utah), two names that should interest Wolves fans. Ellenson is a power forward who can stretch the floor while Poeltl is a true 7-footer who is a load to handle in the paint. Mystery man Thon Maker will be available, as will Michigan State wing Denzel Valentine. I wasn’t able to talk with Maryland’s Melo Trimble yesterday. I’ll do my best today.
Any questions you’d like me to ask these guys?
We’ll have a Day 2 Notebook posted later tonight, along with video interviews. We’ll also have a prospect profile on Providence point guard Kris Dunn.
