Preview: Nets vs. Bucks (11-01-15)

The Nets return to Barclays Center Monday night to host the Milwaukee Bucks. Both teams are looking for their first win of the season. The Nets get the benefit of being rested against a tired Bucks squad that flew in Sunday night after playing the Toronto Raptors. Here are four things to watch for in tonight’s game.

Bogdanovic: Bojan Bogdanovic led the Nets with 19 points in Saturday’s loss to Memphis. Bogdonovic’s statline (19 points, two assists, two rebounds) looked similar to his strong finish in the 2014-15 season, when he averaged 14.4 in April over the Nets’ final nine games, including a 28-point night against the Orlando Magic in the regular-season finale.

Brook Lopez: Brook Lopez posted his first double-double of the season Saturday, racking up 12 points and 10 rebounds against the Grizzlies. Lopez posted 17 double-doubles last season and three more in the Nets’ playoff series with the Atlanta Hawks. Lopez averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds in four games against the Bucks last season. The 7-foot big man is averaging 18.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and two assists through three games to start the season.

Three-pointers: The Nets are looking to find their range from beyond the arc and will have a chance to get on track Monday. The Bucks are allowing opponents to shoot 46.4 percent from three-point range while also allowing 115.3 points per game.

Banged-up Bucks: The Bucks come to Barclays Center 0-3 after dropping a 106-87 decision to the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night. The Bucks are banged up, missing Jabari Parker, who tore his ACL last December, O.J. Mayo (strained hamstring) and John Henson (sore Achilles).
