After a forgettable showing in Game 1, Plumlee bounced back against one of the most vulnerable defenses against centers in the regular season. He was aggressive on offense, with his nine vists to the charity stripe serving as his third-highest total on the season. Eight of the big man’s 10 boards were notably hauled in on the defensive end of the floor as well, and his point total was good enough for the team co-lead on the night with Damian Lillard. With the entire Blazers offense starving for points over the first two postseason tilts, continued contributions of this nature from Plumlee will likely be essential in Portland having a chance to climb back into the series.
