HEAT.com's player spotlight for this past week features Goran Dragic. In what was Miami's toughest stretch of games yet, a four-in-five-night gauntlet against the Knicks, Hawks, Cavaliers and Bulls, Dragic rose to the occasion and played quite well.
In fact, the Slovenian led the HEAT in points per game (21.5), assist percentage (32.5 percent), true shooting percentage (60.9 percent) and usage percentage (27.2 percent) over the team's last four contests. In other words, Dragic had himself a very busy and efficient week on the offensive end.
While the point guard got into the paint often to either set up his teammates or finish inside — he averaged 11.8 drives per game over his last four — he also shot 11-of-17 from mid-range. A decent amount of those shots came off solid screens from Hassan Whiteside.
One of Dragic's best all-around performances came on December 6 against the Knicks when he scored 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting, dished out seven assists, grabbed four boards and came away with two steals. Check out highlights from that game and more in the video below.
