Gasol’s team debut was a rather muted one, but he did showcase his usual aptitude as a passer, with the three assists tying for the team lead. Since he’s not expected to play major minutes in the preseason, it could be difficult to get an early read of Gasol’s fantasy value, but it’s generally expected that he’ll see his numbers dip across the board by virtue of joining a far more talented supporting cast than he had in Chicago.
