He split minutes almost equally at power forward with Patrick Patterson, and Siakam didn’t look much like a rookie in his NBA debut, showing tremendous energy and athleticism. His offensive game is still extremely raw so his primary contributions will come on the glass for now, and there will almost certainly be growing pains down the road, but the Raptors may have gotten a bit of a steal with the 27th overall pick in this year’s draft.
