Porter’s high shot total, which ranked third on the team, was encouraging to see, but the forward wasn’t able to parlay those opportunities into a bigger scoring night. Shooting consistency was somewhat of an issue for Porter in 2015-16, but if he can make some strides in that department with another year of experience under his belt, he could surpass last season’s career-high average of 11.6 points per game.
