PHILADELPHIA – The Most Outstanding Player of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament has been invited to workout for the 76ers. Villanova’s Ryan Arcidiacono – the durable, no-quit, gritty point guard who this spring helped the Wildcats to their second national title in school history – will be one of six prospects the Sixers host at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Monday morning.  Joining him are Kansas’ Perry Ellis, Old Dominion’s Trey Freeman, Buffalo’s Justin Moss, New Mexico State’s Pascal Siakam, and Stony Brook’s Jameel Warney.  A Neshaminy High School product, Arcidiacono ended his four-year run along Lancaster Avenue as the Big East’s second all-time leader in minutes played, with 4,592.  He started all but two of his 144 appearances in a Villanova uniform, and, as a senior, posted personal-high averages of 12.5 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 steals.  Arcidiacono shot 35.8 percent from outside the arc for his career, burying 261 of his three-point attempts.  The Wildcats compiled a record of 117-27 with the All-Big 5 selection on their roster.Arcidiacono will be the fifth Big 5er, along with former teammate Josh Hart, Saint Joseph’s DeAndre’ Bembry and Isaiah Miles, and Temple’s Jaylen Bond, to workout for the Sixers in the past month.  Arcidiacono has also visited with the Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets, and Denver Nuggets.Out of Monday’s group, only Siakam and Ellis, both forwards, have received projections in recent mock drafts.  Siakam’s older brother, James, suited up in five games for the Delaware 87ers this past season.  Ellis was voted as an All-American this year.
