The gold medal game between the US and Serbia was tight after first quarter but quickly got out of hand as the United States outscored their opponent 77-51 en route to their third straight Olympic gold. The squad also dominated Serbia on the glass, out rebounding them 54-33.
The depth of the United States was overpowering as every one of the 12 players on the roster scored in the contest. The team will leave Rio having not dropped a game, and with the gold medal around their necks.

As a team they only turned the ball over seven times while also racking up 20 assists.
