Brazil 66, Spain 65

Host nation Brazil pulled off a huge upset of Spain, who uncharacteristically dropped to 0-2 thus far in the tournament. It was a thrilling finish, as Spain’s Pau Gasol missed a pair of free throws with 23 seconds to play – if he connected, Spain would have been up three points. Brazil came down the other end and Marcus Marquinhos hit a tip-in to win the game with 5 seconds to play.

Lithuania 89, Nigeria 80

Lithuania stayed unbeaten while Nigeria fell to 0-2 on Tuesday afternoon. Lithuania was led by Mantas Kalmietis’ double-double, as the guard put up 21 points and 12 assists, both game-highs. Here’s how the NBA players fared in this one.

Argentina 90, Croatia 82

Argentina was able to hold off Croatia’s furious fourth quarter rally and hang on for the win to cap off Tuesday’s action in Rio. Croatia, led by Dario Saric’s near triple-double, outscored Argentina 28-17 in the final 10 minutes, though it wasn’t enough.
