Nuggets coach Mike Malone said Sunday that Chandler (hip) would miss another 7-to-10 days, Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post reports.

The Nuggets initially gave Chandler a one-to-two-week timetable when he was diagnosed with the right hip strain prior to the season opener, and based on Malone’s follow-up report, it appears the swingman will be facing the long end of that recovery window. In Chandler’s stead, Will Barton should remain the beneficiary of around 20-to-25 minutes per game.
