Nicolas Laprovittola: Earns roster spot

Laprovittola drew some attention for his play with Argentina in the 2016 Summer Olympics, and was able to carry over that success to training camp with the Spurs, with the 26-year-old doing a quality job of directing the offense. While Laprovittola doesn’t profile as a long-term successor to the aging Tony Parker, he’ll provide the team with some experienced depth at the position. That will allow rookie Dejounte Murray to see some more extended run in the D-League this season.
