Nerlens Noel: Will undergo minor knee procedure

Noel was not expected to be ready for Opening Night due to a groin issue he has been dealing with, and now it would appear he will not only miss the 76ers’ season opener, but time beyond that as well. The 76ers have not yet provided a timeline for Noel’s return, but figure to do so after he goes under the knife. The 76ers will not have to replace a starter as Noel was expected to open the season as a reserve, but his absence should open up more minutes for the likes of Jerami Grant and Richaun Holmes.
