You knew it would only be a matter of time until Mirza Teletovic found his shooting stroke for the Suns.
But maybe you didn’t think it would be this good.
After a slow start in his 2015-16 campaign for the Suns, Mirza Teletovic has recorded all four of his double-digit scoring performances in the last five games. Over this five-game span, Teletovic is averaging 10.8 points and shooting 42.4 percent from three-point distance.
Teletovic has now tallied six consecutive games with two or more three-pointers and has shot above 37-percent from downtown in seven of the last eight games and above 40-percent in six of his last eight. He’s also chipped in about five boards each night and his +/- is +7.6 – one of the highest rates on the squad during the same time.
Remarkably, from 25-29 feet, Teletovic was a blistering 7-of-14 (50-percent).
Not bad at all considering he’s playing just 21 minutes per game off the bench.
