Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry have been named the NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 2 of the 2018-19 season (Oct. 22-28).
Other nominees for Eastern Conference Player of the Week were Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid, Detroit’s Blake Griffin, Toronto’s Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry, Atlanta’s Taurean Prince and Brooklyn’s D’Angelo Russell.
Other nominees for Western Conference Player of the Week were New Orleans’ Anthony Davis, San Antonio’s DeMar DeRozan, Golden State’s Kevin Durant, the LA Clippers’ Tobias Harris and Portland’s Damian Lillard.
